Centre d’ art de passarelle

2011, Residency and Performance

A solo performance, IMPORT engages a body in the urgency to move and be moved. Through an escalation of banal and phosphorescent physical tasks, this work explores the phenomena of embodying value. It examines training as privilege, advancement of support for arts in Europe, and the bodily positions upholding trends in global trade. An immediate autobiographical proposal of worth and waste for the occupational status: dance artist.
