Life Lines
A film seeking body’s connection to land, Lifelines is an experimental dance score that asks movers and audiences: How can we move closer to what brings us life? It features seven revered dance artists from three continents whose identities are unique, and grew out of the first Covid quarantine to discover opportunities in how we are connecting with body and earth across borders and boundaries.
An experimental dance film directed and edited by brooke smiley, Native Launchpad Artist 2020-2023 from Western Arts Alliance, with original score by Timothy Wood, Lifelines invites a global participation in what brings us rest, pleasure, and freedom in moving from what we don’t know.
